It must be the season for this sort of thing. About a month ago I was in the same situation. Just sitting at a stoplight and BAM from the rear. A high school girl talking on a cell phone driving an explorer (gee I wonder how these sterotypes come about?) apparently did not see my bright red and white 4Runner sitting there on the nice straight stretch of road. The only damage to my vehicle were a few paint scrapes and a little bit of a bend to my rear bumper (custom built by me with 3/8" steel bolted to the frame). The front end of the exploder was pretty well FUBAR'd, but she paid cash for me to make new brackets and that was the end of that. People really need to wake up when driving.

Get lots of rest, and lots of medical attention. Unlike a car, you gotta keep your body for the rest of your life.

Like Garret says, have you hitch checked out. I was in a hit&run. Some guy in a GMC1500 lowrider smacked my hitch at a red light, and when I went back to talk to him, he peeled away. I was too stunned to even get a plate #. I thought no dammage, but a few weeks later when I was crawling around under the rear, found that the hitch mounts had cracked.

tdk.

Now what to do about a bumper. Hmmmm
The dual vises are pretty much for show....I really don't use them....just had them laying around and 'put them to good use' This is my own engineering design....and the primary criteria was to promote maximum radiator damage to those that tailgate or talk on cell phones. Hope this inspires you. ZUK
