Got my Taco

2001 Tacoma, 4cyl, 37k miles, auto, reg cab, SR5, 4x4, cd player, tonneau cover already on it and a bed liner. Got it for 14.5k.

What can ya'll tell me about it. What are the gear ratio's in the t-case and tranny. What are the most likely gears in axles.

It has 285/75/16's on it? Which i think are 31's or 32's? Don't like the 16" rim, tires are too expensive for that ˟˟˟˟. When those run out i'll probably lift it and throw on some 33's and some black 15x8 steelies.

How much lift to get 33's? I don't think i'll run any bigger on IFS. OME, cornfed who else is in the game for Toy suspension?

What kind of city/highway mileage am I expecting out of this? I got about 18 on my last, tank which was mostly highway but I was going 85-100 on the way back testing its "capabilities"

Thanks!

First off congrats on the new rig.

All of those questions and MANY MANY more will be answered if you use the search button, given the fact that I drive a 4Runner I really can't help you with the questions...however, about the mileage...you will get better than I do! But with me getting ~12 in the city, thats not really much to brag about!

I would try the search and if you can't find some of your answers there...repost them on here.

I'd take a look here...
http://www.tacomaterritory.com/
and the forums here...

I've seen people run 33's with 2-3" of lift...most of them also have a body lift though. There are many lift options to get you into that range.
