Best tailight upgrade ever for a 3rd gen and would love to do it but sliders and a few other things have to come first.

 

I just got mine in friday, Can't wait for it to warm up a bit to put them in! Lights look crisp.

 

They look great, and yes those are definitely the best tail lights for a 3rd Gen! Can't loose with LED's, haha.

They are on my list too.... Thats the combo I'm going to go with when I get a few other things ironed out first. Whos going to get them first???

 

id buy them but i can only find them on ebay and their for like 00 01 02... not sure if the 97 harness or light fixture is different. i dont think it is but i dont know. i would hope the lights are still really bright through the smoked cover.

 

I think I would have to force myself to buy some smoked LED taillights as well since I plan on going for the solid black look.....

Any source for good quality ones? I keep looking at the ones Burtman offer, but those aren't smoked...

 

The LED tails will fit all years, the sellers are idiots. They would sell a lot more if they would put 96-02 in the info.


They are all made by Eagle Eyes. So they are all the same quality. Burtman only offers the OEM looking ones. You'll have to get the smoked ones off Ebay. But some buyers may offer a warranty.

 

y not just put LED bulbs in the factory housing?

do these replace the back up and turn signal bulbs as well?

 

Yes. You get an entire new tail light assembly. The turn signal is still amber and the back up white is stil lwhite, but instead of a single bulb you get 16 LED's

 

x2 on that... PnP LED bulbs are worthless compared to these. You'll pay a pretty penny for them too.

 

I think they are worth it. The reverse bulbs and turn signals are just regular bulbs though. If you want LEDs you'll have to buy some for those on top of the LED tail lights.

SHO, are those burtman ones? How much $$$?? I need these on my 97. I want it to look stock though, not riced out. Yours looks factory.
