Good Quality iPOD Mount

Where can I purchase a good fitting iPOD mount for a 30GB Video to fit in a 3rd Generation 4Runner?

hey I know there's a thousand companys making these mounts but I've seen some decent ones at Ross and tj max. They're usually like half the price too. Good luck shopping!

Try using the search terms ipod mount, or even gps mount

That outfit makes several models, I am sure they have one for your dash.

All you need to complete the mount it the portagrip part.

I do not use mine anymore, I am going to see if I can mount my upcoming ham radios faceplate to it.

How do those port-a-grip's do when bouncing around during rock crawling?

Just curious since the jarring motion is different when doing overland style off-road vs rock crawling...

On forest service roads that are washboarded that were shaking my chassis and sending me slightly sideways it held the iPod in place perfectly.
They can grip things pretty tight.

Why mount it when you can integrate in the center console.

Ram mounts are super heavy duty and customizable. I use a RAM mount with my GPS on my quad handlebar in the dunes. Never has failed, way more vibration on that than a truck. I also have a suction cup mount for the same GPS in my truck.

Here are the MP3 mounts (select your Ipod): http://www.ram-mount.com/mp3_mount/mp3_mount.htm
