Good price on bilsteins

I'm looking at a set (4) of new HD Bilsteins for $249, plus free shipping. Good deal? From what I have seen, this is a pretty good price. Or i could go with the KYB Monomax for $209 for all 4 plus free shipping. Thoughts?

actually I just realized the price for the Bils was 249 for 90-95 4runner. Its 289 for 96-02 for the set. Will the 90-95 shocks fit an 00?

alrighty, I think I'm gonna go with the KYBs. Seems to be a pretty good price, and I haven't read too many complaints about them on here.

I found the bilsteins on ebay for 289 for all 4. I just did a search "4runner shocks" and they came up. Like i said though, the bils for the 2nd gen 4runner were 249 for the set.

That is a good price, I think I paid $309 for mine shipped from performance products, and at the time...last Dec...that was about the best I could find after adding the shipping. Some were lower, but shipping was higher.

The KYB's come highly recommended by my mechanic who only works on Toyota and Lexus vehicles. He works on alot of 4runners, Pickups, Landcuisers, etc.

I went with the Bilsteins before he told me about the KYB's and I love them. Only thing I didn't like about them was they did not come compressed so I couldn't put them on myself...I could not get enough leverage on the ground....actually I got one back one on and it about killed me...I was sore for two weeks.

I have had both KYBs and Bils and they are both great. You have to get the KYB Monomax if you want good ones for your runner though.

yeah the monomax are the ones that I found on ebay. I don't suppose there is an $80 difference between the KYBs and the Bils
