They said it hasn't seen much service at all. Still has OEM plug cables!! which is impressive i guess.. but hell... This thing has never seen a tune up other than fluids.

Well the idea was fun while it lasted...

Back to the drawing board

The sad thing is that if you got all the parts and did it yourself, it probably wouldn't cost more than $500, so you would pretty much end up getting a properly maintained 4runner for $4000 after all.

For 240,000 miles - that list almost seems to be normal maintenance. Also, if it is a 3.4 - it has a timing belt, not a chain. Not that it matters, the belt would be at the end of its useful lifespan. And considering the water pump is gone - good thing to replace. Still sounds like a good deal to me though.

my only thing is to me 240 seems to low of mileage for all of that to happen at one time per se' ... someone must have looked over a few maintenance deals over the mileage....
