i have a 95 4runner and it doesnt have leather seats or anything so i dont think its a limited but all the emblems are gold. I have a sunroof and crome running boards. My mom has the same year and color 4runner and hers is different. Around the tires on hers is flat looking and around mine it comes out alittle and has crome around it. what does this mean? they are the same year and all? and why does mine have gold emblems and hers has silver??

is mine limited or what?

Somebody put a set of those goldies on there to jack up the price when they sold it. Unless yours says its a limited it isn't. I've never seen a limited that didn't have the bigger flares, leather, sunroof and all the other extras, thus why it is a limited. Even the floormats will say if it is a limited.

 

Just another option that was available in 95.

 

yea, gold emblems are an option. the flares could be aftermarket, or factory option, no idea.

you can find all of this out by your vin.

 

how can i find out by my vin..is there a site i can go to or something?

 

well when you run it at a site like car fax it'll say "1995 sr5"

but the vin itself can be decoded... cant remember where to get that info.. someone else may help us out here.
