Well, it depends what you want.
Theres a lot of mud bogging spots and trails for sure.
But if your into rock crawling and stuff, i'm pretty sure there's none. unless you consider mauna kea and go off their main trails.

Nice 4runner. You got yourself what most consider the best year of the 3rd gen.

Check out system 7.2...

Where you at on the Big Island? I grew up in Mt. View, but now I live in Washington. My mom's side still lives in Keaau. The Big Island has the best food in the world.

You will dig the 4Runner, it looks good. I'm sure you will find a couple sugar cane roads to have fun on.

Last time I went to the big island, there was a sign on the side of the road saying "85-86 Toyota parts for sale", and I had to pull over

it was actually just off the highway on the west side of the island. My grandparents own a house in Ocean View, and I dove that road a lot going back and fourth between their house, and actual civilization. Didn't find anything I needed though.

ahhh i see.
i passed by one of our junkyards today and seen someone with a 3rd gen 4runner flipped theirs, so i'm gonna go sometime this week and see if i can get anything for cheap

also planning on doing the deckplate mod and intake silencer mod this week too

EDIT:

Does anyone know if i put an aftermarket deck in the 4runner, would the factory keyless entry still work?
The reason i ask this is because the Civic i used to own; once i replaced the old deck with an aftermarket one, my keyless entry no longer worked.

Thanks in advance!

The airbox and silencer mod will net a bit extra power and a lot more noise FYI. But if you are into the civic scene, noise may not be an issue for you.

I did the deckplate mod yesterday and plan on doing the silencer mod maybe next week or so. Throttle response and mid range pick-up are more noticeable, and the noise isnt as bad as how my civic was so i love it
