Well.........I got 'er dun! I got my new engine installed this weekend! It was a expirence.......but one I wouldnt care to do again. I installed a Jasper engine beacuse mine had a bad rod bearing, #2 I believe. The engine had been gone through before and the knock returned........my guess would be a bad crank, but not 100% sure, "Bubba Redneck" did the rebuild before I got the truck so theres no tellin what he had actually done! Now I KNOW what I have, and the Jasper comes with a 3yr 75,000 mile warranty! Thats good if you ahve someone install it.......even better when you work at a dealer (me) and get paid to fix your own vehicle!

Man is it smooth.........Next week new Rockcrawlers Tech 1's (black of corse!), Itll be like having a new truck!
