mmm That may be a good idea. I'm going to keep it as is until I see how it looks with the other parts to match. If I need to take it off later, I'll consider it.

Looks good so far!

I like the matched body color too. I'd probably wait to see how well the paint holds up on the chrome before I went to the trouble though.

BTW, There's something wrong with your yard... The snow looks very muddy and grass like...

Nice to see you got a little break in the weather.

Yeah, it's nice to get some warmth around here. Been getting up in the mid to high 30's everyday now. Feels great!

You nailed it on the waiting to see how the paint sticks to the chrome before I think about making any changes. That's what I plan on doing. But I was standing about 40 feet away from the front looking at it this morning and it looks better and better each time I look at it. We'll see. I have to tell you, the first time I looked it after I painted it, I though I made a mistake. I had mixed feelings about it. But now, I love it!

Yeah...I wanna get rid of my chrome too.

I'm going to paint my wheels by way of the walkthrough in the tech-section. I will then have to do something with my door handles, rear bumper, and trim on the front bumper as mine just has three plastic chrome parts on the front.

I'm thinking powdercoat for the pieces unless I can get a good deal on an aftermarket REAL bumper.

I'd like something like an ARB but don't want my bumper to look that intense. Are there any other options?

Two sites that I've been looking at to get ideas are these:
http://www.roadarmor.com/site/

http://www.alien-patrol.com/

If I get a front one made, I'll combine parts (ideas) of like three different bumpers to make mine.

I only know of one local business (A-Tech) around here that will make bumpers. Most people are getting scared to make them because people will try to sue them (Some lady tried to sue the maker of a bumper because it was on a truck and the truck and her car were in an accident with each other. She tried to sue saying there was excess damage to her car because of the bumper) Yeah, sounds stupid I know, but that seems to be the Americian Way now a days.
