Talking Getting my new engine!!!

I'm finally going to get my new engine! It's a rebuild from www.importenginespecialties.com I must say that the guy that I dealt with, Mark, is incredibly nice. He's very helpful and really knows what he's talking about. I also got performace cams on the engine that adds 15 to 20% more hp!!! That's quite a bit. I got a really good price on the engine, it was $3000. Shipped to Seattle from NEW YORK!!! Plus it comes with a 3 year 50,000 mile warranty. They are selling the engines for fairly cheap because they built a few extra and need to get rid of them. So, if you're looking for a new engine take a look at them! Considering I'm about as far as a person can be from their shop (in the U.S.) $3000 after everything is a great price. I'm going to be installing the engine over the next two weeks, so I'm sure that I'll be asking some questions.

Dude you should have looked at ATK Engines. They have a killer deal. Their warranty is 3 years/Unlimited Mileage. The best warranty around. Jasper offers 3 year/75,000 Miles. I guess it is preference but the Warranty is something to Look at as well when you are buying something like a motor and tranny! Just my .02 cents!

I'd be interested in hearing about these performance cams and how they "put out" in the real world.

Thanks

it will be interesting to see how the cams work. The reason I went with IES is because it was a good deal, and the guy that helped me was really helpful. Not to mention that it was a grand more to get any other engine around my area.
