gel light covers

saw a post a while back on this and someone posted a web site where you could buy the covers for all the dash lights and even the lights them selves for 30 cents or something....anyone remember this one?

Thats what I used....

I used the small ones (.12"??) for the climate control/any other linghts in the console, and the bigger (.20"??) for the gauge cluster. I also did double bulb covers to get it a deep red....I think it looks pretty good!! I go them from partsexpress.com too!

that's pretty cool looking. I like how it matches the gauges on the driver side pillar too.

Yeah...I was pretty excited with the turnout! The RPM gauge turned a little pink because I'm oretty sure the gel must have sliced when I put it in. I ordered some gauges from gaugehut, so that will eliminate that problem.

So I take it that you did not replace the bulbs when you put the covers on? That dash looks sweet!

I am thinking red like your setup with the bezel painted silver like the tech writeup and the clear blue slugs for the turn signal. That is my goal for the next cheapo mod.

My expensive mod is going to take a few months $$ to put the parts together. My front bumper arrived, still searching for a color matched grille and rear bumper at a decent price.

I actually had 3 bulbs die on me...don't know how/why. But, just used the ones I had for the rest. It was a good cheap mod, and I get alot of compliments....I had a guy roll next to me the other night, and he wanted to know when they made a red interior...he hated his green!! Hahaha!

FYI: I tried the blue, and got a more darker green/blue from it. I was not impressed!! But maybe I got a bad batch of covers or something....
