hey, so I recently destroyed my 98 tacoma. Plus side insurance got me a bone stock 96 4x4 5 speed 2.7l 4cyl with 60k on a factory engine and 280k on the body+cash to play with! So armor, ARB locker, nwor header, winch, bumpers, OME full suspension all on order. now I was going to just run 30.5x9.5 tires but now i realize that i have to open up my rear diff to put the locker in I might as well regear to 4.88 and put 33x9.5 tires on and if i regear the rear i have to regear the front so another ARB locker is in order. so I live on vancouver island in canada and am haveing a hard time finding local third members or 4.88 gearing for my 96 4cyl tacoma. I stated "or" there cuase I have never done this before and dont really know what I need, it will be a first time for alot of these mods for me. I see now i could of bought pre built diffs but i have allready got one ARB locker ordered. anyway does anybody know of a good place to get tacoma gears in canada? or the USA for that matter? how should I go about this, i was thinking i could take everything apart and get a shop to put it together or just do it myself but as a newb and it being my drive train... i would like the knowledge of how it works but with out the worry of if it will work lol
