Gear ratio ???

im in need of expert advice...

The Total Chaos lift will widen the front track of my 90 p/u truck by 7". They say if I swap the rear out with a T 100 that I can have symetry b/t front and back. What were the gears that came from the factory in my truck and in the t 100? Also are there different numbers of splines. And can I bolt a runner diff w/e-locker into the t 100 housing??? These are tuff questions and I really need the answers so that I can make my truck sweet on the first try!

thanks

_travis

ps check out my last thread to see what I have learned about lifts.

I almost certain that the T-100 trucks have the mysterious 8.4 inch differential which really measures 8.25 inches. If this is the case then any 8.0 inch differential like the electric locker and all 4Runner differentials WILL NOT fit.

I think we need one of those gear ratio and axle identification charts here.... Anyone?

How is he supposed to guess a T-100 rear ratio from that chart? We need a VIN and all the other build codes from a T-100 to figure it out.

The real question is did T-100 have 8 inch diffs or 8.4?
