I drive 60+ miles to and from work and Friday afternoon I went to get in my truck and noticed the smell of gear oil. After looking under my truck to see the whole under carriage soaked in a slimy mess I drove to the local stealership at ~4:45. The tech looks at me and says, "sorry man I can't tell you anything unless I spent sometime on it and I have to go". So I take it to a friends house and tear into it.

From what I can tell the gear lube was coming out the top of the transfer case. I checked the fluid level and it was ~1/8th quart low. Filled it back up and can't tell if it is doing it anymore. Anbody ever had this happen to them, any ideas what it could be, should I still have it checked out?
