Weird issue. I filled up a couple of days ago. When I got home yesterday, the gas gauge was at half way point. When I went to start it up this morning, the gas light was on and it showed empty.

I drove around for a bit, and the gas needle started going up, and back to normal. What would be the cause of this? I know my old 98 used to have a fluctuating gauge, but nothing like this. Any help?
