Gas pump

I filled up the tank a few days ago and I'm just now logging the milage. I look at my calculations and think, What the heck? I only got 11 mpg!
I look at the gas receipt again and the pump charged me for 19.5 gallons of fuel. First off, my tank only hold 18.5. Second, I had a quarter tank left.
Let this be a lesson to pay more attention to the gas pump!

Since you are SC'rd, I assume you used premium. Check and see if the price per gal on your receopt was for a lower grade and therefore more gals to make the $ correct. I have had stations do that for whatever reason.

They charged me for premium. I should have known something just wasn't right when my bill was $31.00:eek:
I'm going to stop by the gas station tonight and talk to someone. Maybe see if I can rectify this myself:mad:
