please, let's all compare like with like. my 95 4runner with 3.0 auto gets 14.5-15.5 most of the time. the only time i got better was driving down to LA - i got 17.5.
i just tuned mine up, have manual hubs, took off my roof rack, tires at 35 psi, ECT on, and i almost always get over 15.
ECT off, roof rack on - 14-14.5

oh, and i almost always use 87 octane from union 76.
