I have no reason how my gas door got a bit bent but I have to slide an A&P shopper card in there and then pop it open for it to open.

Yep, get someone to help you. Pull the release and have them push on the left side of the gas door, and it should open. There is a sort of butterfly spring in the gas door that has probably broken. Happened to me on a trip out of state and I had to get some random guy at a gas station to help me get it open. Replace the spring and you'll be back in business.

got it open today. Pulled the panel off inside the cargo are to get at the latch. The cable chase had come undone from its bracket somehow. Clipped it back on and works like new.
