which fuse blew?

so im wiring my neons for my footwells, to the wires that lead to the bulb that is supposed to illuminate the change draw(the bulb was blown so instead of replacing it i decided i would just cut off the plastic holder for the bulb and use those wires so that the neons will come on whenever i turn on my headlights.) And after i stripped the wires they touched accidentally and i assume blew the fuse. So now theres no power to that or the ring that illuminates around the cigarette lighter, but the lighter still works. so far those are the only things i have seen affected. Ive checked all the fuses that i figured it might be but cant find any blown. Does anybody know where this fuse is?

When you turn your lights on, do the gage lights or the tail lights come on? If not, you blew the "TAIL" fuse by your right foot. Pretty sure that is the fuse that all lights in the cab (hooked up to the HL switch) and the tail lights are hooked up to.

i did this while messing with the wiring for the light around the lighter when i did my big gauge install. my interior lights, gauge lights, markers and tails went out. i looked all around and took all fuses out 3 times before i found one that just barely looked blown, and that was it. the one that blew when i did this was in the engine bay fuse panel, but i couldn't say exactly which one it was. check them really good, like i said, it took me 3 times to find the bad one for me!

Check the TAIL or DOME fuse, both in the box under the hood.
