Fuel Release valve.

Hello everyone

Anyone know where the fuel pressure release valve is on a 91 22RE ?

the reason Im asking is because My truck wouldn't start this morning ! Cranks over but no start. So I figured my lines must be frozen.

I added gas line antifreeze, and was told to crank it over than release the pressure on the fuel rail via the pressure valve ? than crank it over again and repeat.

I cant find the release vavle. anyone know where it is ? PICS would help to.

I did a search, using my 89 Pickup, Chilton's manual on CD.

"Relieving fuel system pressure"
"To relieve the fuel pressure, wrap a clean towel or rag around either the cold start injector fitting or the union bolt (banjo bolt) at the fuel delivery rail. Slowly loosen the bolt at the fuel line and allow pressurized fuel to escape into the rag. Do NOT allow fuel to spray from the fitting; always wrap it in a rag. Pressure may also be relieved at the fuel filter if desired. Tighten the union bolt."

No mention anywhere of a pressure release valve.
