fuel injector questions and more
How do you tell if there is a leak in the injector to manifold seal/o-ring? IF I'm thinking correctly it would be the same as a manifold leak and would show up w/ a vacuum gauge right? My vacuum gauge is steady and at the correct level (20-24 can't quite remember)
I am experiencing fuel smells while driving but can't find a leak I have not experienced a drop in mpg so I think it's something small, but needs fixing.
Also how do you test the emission cannister? I have vacuum to the can but do not have vacuum coming out, I was not aware of any servos or anything involved w/ testing it. I would to make sure that it is bad before dropping $140 on it. I thinkthis is prolly the source of the smell.

If you're smelling gas, just follow your lines under the vehicle from the tank to the injectors. That's all you can do. If you can't find a leak, then I wouldn't worry too much about it unless it's so bad you're passing out. If you can smell it, you should be able to find a leak somewhere.
