Front tire alignment issue?

Front tire alignment issue?
Hi all,
After washing my 4Runner this past weekend, I noticed something odd when looking at my grill from about ten feet back. My front tires weren't perpendicular to the ground. They looked like this:
\-----------/ (though not as severe)
Then I got my tires rotated and they said that the outer edge of my tires had slightly more wear than the inner edge.
Is an alignment going to do the trick here?
Thanks in advance...

probably nothing wrong. A slight \----/ is correct.

also it could be an alignment issue... no way to tell without checking it first.... if the alignment is out, then doing an alignment will fix it....
it depends on the spec for that vehicle, some of the high performance bmws actually are in spec like / \ they purposely set the tires @ 1-2 degrees negative camber for handling

I have a 1998 4Runner Limited. I just read up on the recall and it doesn't look like it applies to me.
However, the slight angle of the front tires is bugging me to the point where I must have them "fixed". It may be within spec, but I want them []----[] instead of slightly \-----/
thanks tho!
