I have a 97' SR5 4runner that came stock with the running boards. Now that I have removed them there is no mud flaps in the front. What is left is the plastic molded fender flare. I think I have seen mud flaps on other 4runners that fit up and match the black plastic fender flare. Anyone know where I can find some? They are probably a factory part I would imagine.

there is a write-up in the tech section about how to put them on... im sure they can be found cheap at pepboys or autozone. im also PRETTY sure that they fit flush with the molded fender flare.

 

You can get a generic one at pep-boys/autozone/advanced auto or you can go to the stealership and get a taco mudflap and it will look a little better but you will pay a lot more. Go check both out and see what you can find. Did you try searching? I'm sure there have been old threads about this. Though I must say I haven't seen many in a while.

I think the stock front mud flaps are hard to find because the stealer wants so much for them. I can,t find ones for my 2 gen. 4 runner anywhere.The ones that start where my fender trim ends. Everyone I know says check the wreckers, well they don,t , and I,ve been looking lots.

 

I got some from autozone for 7 bucks, drilled my own holes, mounted them flush with the fender flare and it works and looks great, i love em
