front end problem after installing coilovers

i installed my coilovers on wed night and since then i have had a little problem. the front end feels really "loose", like not everything is tightened down. believe me, i have checked every bolt and nut up there. i used my bottle jack in the to of the fender well and pushed the upper arm down a little to help fit the coilovers in. i didn't think that i pushed it down too far, but maybe i did. i'm wondering if maybe i damaged the ball joints??? anybody here evr hear of someone else with this problem or any possible causes or solutions??????

thanks, scott

scott:

I doubt pushing down the arm using the bottle jack messed anything up there.

Did you rescrew the coilover so it sits in place? I'm talkin about those small screws to hold the coilover in it's correct height you adjust to. Ya know what I'm talkin about? (the allen wrench screws)

Could it be the tire again? just wondering...

Did you get an alignment yet? When I first installed OME's, the front felt loose until I got an alignment.

yeah, it's aligned...i talked with mike w/extreme off road today bout buying some new rear springs/shocks. he suggested checking the sway bar and all its connections. checking that completely slipped my mind, so i'm about to do that now. hopefully that is all it is.
