Front Brake Rotor & Rear Drum
hey guys.. so right now, when i brake on my 01 4runner, the front side of my runner shakes as its braking. I havent checked yet, but I'm pretty sure my brake rotors might be warped or something. I'm thinking of replacing them instead or re-facing them. I check on autozone.com for them ans well as my rear brake drums. People tell me to stay away from autozone and forget about them, so i'm doing just that lol. Anyone have suggestions on what brand to get? for the rotors and drums? Should i go OEM or other brands? Thanks guys!

Honestly, OEM would be the best bet. Have you thought about doing the Tundra upgrade, since you're going to be changing it all? I went with Napa brand, both calipers froze up on me a year after, had to buy new everything in the front. With my friends discount though, I stuck with it and tried the Napa parts out a 2nd time, lets hope they hold up. Changed drums and shoes a few months ago, holding up good so far.

just go to advance auto or o'reilly and get the best they have, they arent super expensive, plus it's the brakes we are talking about here, dont cheep out on the brake system.

I just replaced a friend's girlfriend's pads and rotors on her 4runner with ceramic pads and rotors from Autozone for just over $100. They work well.
If you were to go OEM, just buy the pads (no dust) from Toyota and get the rotors from autozone, NAPA, etc. Check to make sure your piston boots are not leaking and lube everything back up well when you are finished. Drums, just like the rotors, but I'd spray them with some black Duplicolor or they will rust quickly.

I've tried them all, Napa, Autozone, and currently have Brembo blanks, they all warped. My rear drums are properly adjusted and I don't brake at the last second. It's a waste of time and money honestly. The only reason I haven't upgraded to the Tundra caliper/rotor set up is because I like my 15" wheels.
