Frame swap

I know this has probably been covered but I have a 99 4runner 4x4 3.4l with a rusted out frame. Can I use a Tacoma frame or does it have to be a 4runner?

You would need the 4R frame as it has the coil buckets and rear control arm mounts, and the proper length.

Yeah you would need a 4runner frame. Probably want to try and get one of the same year too because I think they changed the body mount location from the earlier years.
