Found a Scooped Hood on CL, what next?

IT's DONE!!
So this past weekend I was able to do the rocker panels of my truck with the Durabak to match the hood. I couldn't be happier with how it came out! I think looks awesome and it really ties everything together. Sorry about the pics, they aren't the best but I will try to take some more when the sun and weather decide to cooperate.

you would be surprised. while driving, the air under the car is moving, creating low pressure. with the scoop, hot air from the engine compartment is both forced down with the high pressured air coming into the scoop, and also acts to let hot air rise from the compartment while at a stop (chimney effect). also, having cooler air for the intake is good, too. cool air is more dense than hot air, meaning more air molecules per cubic volume. when more air gets into the engine, more fuel can be burned, and more of a bang created. this causes more horsepower. it's also the reason for snorkels and battery/intake swaps
