Foglight Re-Wire on a 4th Gen
I've been looking at write-ups about re-wiring the factory fogs so that they come on without the low beams and stay on with the highs. The one [link] that seems the best is still a little vague. Here are my questions:
1. Has anyone tried this mod on a 4th Gen and had success/failure?
2. If not, do we think that it will (electrical is not my strongest suit)?
Link Specific
3. What does J.A. mean by the "top prong" on the relay, the 4 prongs are not
marked and the top could be two different ones?
4. Where exactly is the relay for the DRLs that is mentioned in the
addendum? I don't see any standard looking relays near the driver's right
shin.
5. Anything else you guys think would help.
Thank you very much for your help on this. I am looking to install some extra fogs, but would like to wire them up with the factory ones, but only if I can get them to come on basicly whenever I want.
