FM reception cutting out

FM reception cutting out
On my 98 4runner, the FM reception is cutting out while driving. Its a stock cassette player with the remote CD player right underneath it. The reception is cutting out like someone is flipping a switch. A little later, it will come back on, but then cut back out again.
Any thoughts?
