Question Flip Button Keys (similar to Audi and VW style)

Wondering if anyone has information on push button flip keys. I know most of these are custom cut from the manufacturer. Similar to keys on current style Audi and VW and Mercedes. My boyfriend just bought a new VW and I am a little envious of the keys. I have a 2002 4Runner.

Thanks for any information.

A little while back somebody was selling those on ebay for any 96-02 4Runner. I'd look into that.

If I remember correctly, they were Audi/BMW keys, and they somehow rigged a Toyota key to fit. So the keyless buttons don't work. If it is the one I am thinking of, it looked pretty ghetto.

Show him up and don't use a key and get one of these... I love mine, the new remotes are a mid-dark blue or some are a fake carbon fiber. I like the blue, though I guess I'm a little bias. Its got remote start and it will let you know if your truck is getting broken into.

Ask the boyfriend how much a spare key cost. You won't be that envious after, heh.

thanks for the help guys. I looked on the ebay sites and did realize just what you all were talking about. Not only will the alarm keys never work with the alarm I have but they are really expensive for something that still won't completly work.
thanks
