Flexible exhaust tubing

I've been using the s/s flex tubing (2") for about 12 years for tailpipes ina few vehicles. This type of tubing is quite smooth inside, it is not the corrugated type. Seems to flow fine and has allowed me to change the routing a few times as my needs change. Maybe some day I'll get something permanent installed but for now it is working for me.

It has its advantages and disadvantages. It allows you to "make" you own system, but it isnt as pretty and its somewhat harder to weld cuz its so thin. Getting a good coat of paint on there is also difficult. Another upside is that if you have flex pipe from the cats back, any hits to the muffler while you are wheelin will not translate all the way back to the exhaust manifold
