First time posting: intro/question

hey, just wanted to introduce myself as this is my first post I'm 17, and my '99 4Runner is my first car (I have 3 older brothers in and out of college, their first cars were '99 T4Rs too). Completely stock..for now here's a list of mods I've done and plan to do

  • Done: New radio (Pioneer DEH-3200) New dash LED's and Dome light(I'm going with a red theme)

That's about all I've done, I don't make much at my job haha. Chickfila doesn't like to give raises.

  • Want To Do: my brother got new wheels from a guy in Austin, so I plan on buying his old wheels and tires
  • Possibly a new bumper, ABR or Savage cause those are cheaper. I'm concerned if the stock suspension can handle that.
  • Lift?
  • Brother's 2 10" Alpine R types and box and amp
  • Roof rack
  • some kind of auxillary lighting. I don't plan on doing hardcore off roading, maybe just with a couple times every so often (not alot of hills and stuff in central Texas). So maybe Hella's or PIAA. Suggestions on that would be helpful!

Anyways, I have some damage to my front bumper and headlights I think I got hit in a parking lot and they kept going, and was wondering what I should do. The left headlight housing is pretty much busted out, the headlight can be pulled out and moved around haha. The spacer underneath that has been busted in too, as well as bending the bumper down and offset. So maybe it can be an excuse to get a metal bumper like the Savage's because those are cheaper and look lighter. What do you think?

also, you may notice on my windshield wipers, they seem REALLY high up compared to my brothers '99 too. After a snow storm here, the started squeaking whenever they moved, but they've recently stopped. I thought maybe rust from the snow, but WD-40 and other stuff did nothing. Any ideas on that?

Welcome to yotatech.
That bumper still looks great. After a few more hits and cut a little off to clear tires and it will look like mine
