it is a visually dramatic change from the frosted versions and they improve the performance of Silverstar bulbs also which I noticed from my '97 which had the Silverstar bulbs also.

I have the same question. Would we have to switch out the whole headlight casing, or what? I don't mind fabricating, just want to make sure there is a possibility that it will work before I buy the lights.

I doubt there is anyway to place these in a 2nd Gen. I used to have one and there just doesn't look like there would be a way to fit them without heavy modification. The front-ends of the 2nd gen are completley different from the 3rd Gen (grill, headlights, fenders, bumpers, etc.)

Nice Lights, something I would like to do one day.

I have some parts leftover when I wired my locker. I attached some pics. The first piece goes from the locker to the frame (missing one metal bracket to attach to frame) and the other has the connector to the previous piece, but the wires need to be extended. The wires on that one are only about a foot before they are damaged.

I took that first, but went back to the junkyard later to find a better piece of wiring. Mine is almost wire factory now, as I also replaced the connectors on the rear seat. I am not sure what route you want to take so I figured, I throw this out there for you. Say $10 + shipping from British Columbia, Canada and it is yours.

Jonathan, looks like we've got about the same rig...mine is pretty much stock but I'm interested to see how you got those Hella's mounted in your grill? That looks like an aftermarket grill so that might be how...anyway to do it with the stock grill?

Headlights look awesome man!

I think I'm gonna go with the Inchworm kit, because I already have the intact harness coming our of the locker, all I need are the wires that connect to that back up to the front of the cab. Thanks anyway for putting that up here, much appreciation.

It's actually the factory grill, I just cut out the inner portion and put mesh in there. Then I relocated the factory horns and had some brackets fabbed up to mount the hellas where the horns used to be. PM me and I'll go into more detail, but you will have to cut into your factory grill and this mod only works on the 96-98 grill.

No problem, it's not really in my way. I can't get myself to throw out good stuff.
