I have a 94 XCab with the 22r engine. I want to put a body lift on.
Where is the best place to get one, and are the hard to put on?
What about the shifters, gas fill, and bumpers? Or is it as simple as bolting it on?

Second question....Where is the best place to get touch up paint for minor body work?

Body lift would be Roger Brown at 4Crawler.Com

 

They are not too hard to put on if it is not an auto trans. You have to mod the gas filler, raise the bumpers, move some brake lines and the radiator.

Did you find your oil leak?

Even the autotrans isnt tough. Its just a case of getting the linkage to work properly. Mine is still tight.

 

thanks for the info. i am still deciding between add a leaf and torsion bar adjust or body lift. who knows, time is limited.


as for the oil leak, it was the oil filter.
how is the 85 coming?
