97 tacoma. Windshield wipers come on and stay on all by themselves. Washer button does not work. They shut off after a while, on there own.

Sometimes the defrost lever will not move all the way over to defrost. Other times it goes over without a problem.

Someone broke in by the sliding rear window and broke the latch. Can I buy these easily somewhere?

Wipers could be problems in the switch, or a wiring short somewhere. If Tacos are the same as 4Runners with the switch on the column I would check there first.

Defrost lever, there's probably something jamming the flap in the heater assembly. You're going to have to spend some time under the dash checking that.

And as for the window latch you'll probably have to get it from a dealer.
