I went with Bushwacker extend-a-fender flares. They seemed reasonably priced from 4wheel parts warehouse. It took 90 minutes for me to install them myself with a floor jack and each wheel romoved one at a time. Yes they are very shiney, but i'm living with that. I really like the beefy look it added to the overall appearance. I have wide tires so they made it possible to keep them on and clear the inspection to renew the tabs. I removed the mud flaps and left them off but when i have more time i will probably remove the flares and trim them a bit to fit over the molded surfaces of the flaps. Looking back I should have taken the extra time and care to make them fit over the mud flaps on the first try.

can't remember exactly what I paid since I bought them a couple years ago but I just looked them up and if I was to buy them today they'd run right at $290 for the complete package. I guess that's a bit spendy now that I think about it. Didn't seem unreasonable at the time but I liked that they shipped them for free.

That price looks extemely reasonable! Considering he needs only one though it might still be a tough sell. Hmm. By the way no offense but my mom would call that flame job "ZORCHY" Trust me I don't judge.... I just almost never get to use that word.
My son would totally dig it if i did that to our rig. Unfortunately the old runner is the wife's grocery gitter. She's a school teacher. ......need I say more?

I would never have done it myself (not at my age anyway...) but I absolutely fell in love with it when I saw it. The pictures don't do it justice though, you have to see it - it is really a sweet paint job. The guy that painted it owns a (get this custom paint shop!
Neatest thing is it doesn't matter how old a person is, I get just as many smiles and thumbs up from blue-haired grammas as from teenagers - probably more!
