It's been a while since I posted here, at any rate thinking of getting back into a yota and found a pretty sweet (there all pretty sweet aren't they) 02 runner with just over 100k km's on it. Havent had the chance to talk to the dealership about it yet cause of the long weekend, but wondering if there are any known issues with these trucks?
Looks to be in descent enough shape but notice some rust where the paint may have flaked off on the bottom under the doors and near the fenders. The tail pipes are pretty bad too. The frame itself looks like it has some rust but nothing terminal. Besides what looks to be chrome paint peeling off the wheels and all four tires being mismatched, there dosent seem to be any other cosmetic issues on the outside.
Mostly asking if the rust is similar to the mid 90's sort of trucks, where it was super common.
At any rate it's our top choice for an SUV as long as it drives good, just hoping the previous owner took good care of her and dident rat bag it too much.
