Is this a fair price for a Tacoma?
It books out at $9500 in my area but all the tacomas seem to sell at least a thousand over book.

What does everyone think?

to give you an idea....i got the same truck as that a few months ago with 95k miles and 5spd for 9k...it was a great deal for the bay area....these things HOLD their value for sure!

For comparison's sake, I got the same truck, but an '01 with 60k for about that price in NM not long ago.

Seems kinda steep for a '98. Then again, it does have the TRD package.

FWIW I paid about $13k for a '98 non-TRD 4x4...two and a half years ago.

it sold for full asking price. The prices people want for these trucks in oregon is crazy. I just looked at a 1996 4cyl 5speed xtra cab w/ 150k and they wanted $11k as well!

keep on looking I guess.
