Factory gearing in 2000 4Runner Limited
I can't seem to find any info on the factory gearing in my truck. I've been told it's 3.91 but I don't know for sure.

Engine, transmission and factory tire size go a long way in figuring this out.
There is a link for door codes too.
Or you can jack up the rear and count driveshaft revolutions per tire revolution.
I feel like this has been discussed before...

Engine: 3.4L DOHC V6
Tranny: 4-speed Automatic w/ OD
Tires: 265/70r16
I'm really just wanting to know, so that I can make plans for larger tires. I don't have the E-locker if that makes any difference. I'm planning on going with 285/75r16s with SAW/OME components for a small lift in a few months. Will my factory gears support these changes ok, or should I plan on stepping up to 4.56's?
