Man I'm stupid! I didn't even notice the CFM's were right there. Thanks man! Hey I'm noticing that the 17286 doesn't quite have the same amount of offset that the 17271 has. Do you think this will matter, because I'd much rather run the longer one so it's quieter.

What we really need is a flow to peak Db comparison. That would really help when pick out mufflers, cause I know alot of us don't wanna that guy who has the car you can hear for miles.

emr88, what were your results with that hooker? I am actually looking at that one as well, and have a 22r. I am interested in what the hooker with 2.25" pipes sounds like, I don't want to sound like a rice rocket, but don't want to spend an arm and a leg. I'll also PM you in case you don't check here.

Also, CFM vs. db would be good but... dB and quality of that dB are two different things. I don't mind a louder muffler that sounds good compared to a muffler that is a little quieter but sounds like

I finally got a response from MagnaFlow....10 days later:

Paul,
We do not distribute our CFM numbers for our mufflers. Thanks for your interest in Magnaflow Performance.
