engine swap 22r for a 3vze

Has anyone ever done something like this? Ive got a 90 toyo 4x4 with a 3.0 going bad and I want to put a 22r from an '85 2wd into it. Is this a pipe dream or is it feasible? Emissions is not a factor, and as long as it's a matter of nuts and bolts(no welding), I'm game. Please tell me what you think.

Yes, I believe that it has and a Search for "engine swap" should return any and all results to validate my belief.

there might be some issues with oil pans...... otherwise shouldnt be too bad... i have a set of 85 22r engine mounts ready to ship if you wnat them....

also, you are going to need the wiring harness from the donor vehicle... the 85 is pretty basic, but still uses a ecu....
