ya the next thing im going to do is pull that valve cover but no theres no codes or check engine light. im thinking that it is probably sludge because if i stick my finger in the oil fill spot it has a bunch of crap on it when i pull it out. so it will probably either get rebuilt or a completely different motor. has anyone heard of putting a v6 out of the newer tacos in an older one. that would be cool to get a 6 speed with it.
