I heard once apon a time that it is possible to ground a certain wire in the driver kick panel that will allow you to use the locking rear diff in 4wd high. From what I understand you can only use it in 4wd low. Can anybody answer this and if possible let me know which wire it is.

 

yup yup. search something like "grey wire mod" or look in tech section and you'll find it. it's been done many times

 

I searched in TTORA and Yotatech and didn't find anything. Does anybody know of a quality technical write-up of the gray wire mod?

i looked at the last mod and it doesnt fit for the 03 taco but the one i listed above does.
