Going home this morning I notice, sitting at red lights, the speedomoter reving up and down, to about 10 mph, like a tach. And no, I wasn't moving. This happened a lot.
Then ten minuets later all my dash idiot lights come on. Then turn back off.

I begin to worry around now.

I drive to my mechanic (and wait two hours for him to open). When he shows up I begin to get out of the truck, the door open light is now on and will not go off. Again yes, all doors are closed. I notice playing with the dome light switch the door open light will turn off and on.

WTF???

Mechanic said I have a short but there is a lot of wire in the truck and to come back later next week so he can devote an entire day to chase it. Has anyone had this happen?
