I remember reading about the debate. I remember someone or a few people mentioned that either way, the computer will adjust and that pullling the fuse will help it adjust faster. Once again, Thank you everyone for all the help! With this mod maybe i'll finally beat the local nsx around here! Well...maybe not

hehe...i was kidding about those before and after pictures. I don't have a "before" picture of the mod...but i can snap an "after" one if you want. you should also check bob's write-up. http://www.4runners.org/articles/airbox/. I'll respond to any messages fairly fast since i'm on here all day...no more school!

Well here's a pic. See the gap between the air box tube and the fender? There a pic of that link and from my earlier post of what you're taking out. HTH tacomadude

Peter and Jay,

That is why I took the hacksaw to the elbow part so that you can retain the fit between the air box and the elbow part. Looks more flush that way w/o the big ass gap that Jay's pic shows.

As we are in So Cal, I can't imagine us wandering into a flooded road or channel high enough for the elbow to ingest water, so to me, its a non-issue. However, if you go *looking* for one, that's another story!

"Noticing" a difference usually involves >5HP. I believe this mod is just at 5, maybe a little less. So, chances are you may not "feel" it like you wanted. Keep modding though, I garantee you will start to feel it when they start to add up.

Intake, Header, Exhaust - you will feel that.
