prob. engine has a high whistle out the tail pipe...pulled a p0420 code...but doesnt seem to be the prob....had both O2 sensors replaced oem.... still there...toyota says i need new cats...muffler shop says i dont!!!!! gas mil is done, power is down...egine shuts off majority of the time...so it has a rough idle...a friend of mine said to check the EGR valve....I CANT FREAKIN FIND IT!!!! some one pleeease help!!! i simple pic would be nice...fyi 1999 4runner v6 2wd auto

 

no egr on a 1999 ...it uses 3 way cat instead

something grenaded and it is blocking your exhaust

cats probably broke down disintegrated and clogged the exhaust

 

thanx for the info!!! had my cats checkd...he says i dont need them...this person has being doin nothin but mufflers for bout 20+ yrs....what else might it b!?!?!?!?!
