Hey Andy. I just installed my TMC 1.1 in my 97. I am in the process of doing a complete writeup. I will try to get it put on YT today or tomorrow.

I would do the TRD 7th injector since you already have it.

But I can sell the 7th and extra pulleys for close to if not over a grand...

the 7th kit lists for $1299 from dealers. $850 would be a steal. The boost pulleys are $50 each easily.

Good point, then that would make the supercharger even cheaper....

Then again, you will probably use the money made off the sale for another set of wheels! :pat:

Ha Ha. Not Funny. I have my wheels and lift and tires and locker and bumper and winch and SC all sorted out and purchased. Now I just have to decided on what to go w/ the SC - 7th Inj Kit or just Cooler Plugs and TMC 1.1. Decisions, decisions.... Woe is me...

Hey, I could think of a lot worse things to be stressing over. Congrats on the good deal it seems you got. Pass some of that luck my way. If I'm ever in the Birmingham area you will have to give me a ride so I can finally see what a S/C'd 4Runner feels like.

Sure thing... I don't drive fast though. My runner rarely sees 4k rpms. I can't wait to get more torque in the 2k to 3k range though...

Supposedly, the SC'd 3.4L makes as much torque at 1800 rpms as the NA 3.4L does at it's peak.

That's cool. I like torque too! You need to get that thing above 4K sometime and let it 'breathe'.
You installing the S/C and goodies yourself?

I believe that. Maybe one day when I get out of school and get a real job I will be able to get blown too.
