eBay Sliders
Anybody have thoughts on these? I am looking to pick up some sliders in the next week or two and happened upon them. Looks like a really good price, and the guy's feedback is 100% positive. I would prefer a kickout but $$$ talks. Anybody with more slider experience have any comments on them?

Those sliders look just like the ones I got from Marlin Crawler. That's also the same price they sell them for. I totally dig them. only thing is I wish they were 3 or 4 inches longer, there,s about a 2 inch gap at the front and rear to center them.

I am pretty sure that is Trail-Gear products he has for sale. I would order directly from Trail-Gear as I did. I have the same ones and I love them.

Ah. That is a good price, but now that I look at the trail-gear site (and soiledgreen's comment) I see I have to cut them down. I don't have the tools to do that. I need something that is ready to weld or bolt on out of the box.

ditto, exact same sliders as trail gear. they "farm out" and have authorized distro's but those charge to ship where as TG does not. make sure to get the gusset kit if your gonna weld em.
i have the same and they kick ass! i used them alot today and they saved my ass All Day!

And yeah, I do need a welding buddy. I'm not even sure where to get these put on yet. I have visions of calling all the welding shops in the phone book to see if anyone will do it for cheap and with me standing there.

I'll take it by your comment that you're happy with 'em!
I wheel about every weekend, and have put them through the test just about every trip, you cant go wrong with Stubbs.

While I'm sure that Stubbs gear is first rate, your second comment is somewhat inaccurate.
That said, TG's sliders are just as good as any other. They are just cheaper because they are mass produced.
I have a writeup on tube doors from 4x4Innovations that cost me $145 shipped. They are first rate quality & I didn't pay over $300 for tube doors from one of the other manufacturers that think they are making them out of titanium.
Saving money on my sliders & tube doors saved me over $300 alone. That money is better spent on other up grades (in my case it allowed me to purchase 30 spline Longfields).
You save where you can & spend your big money on what you feel is more important. A consideration for someone building a truck on a budget. Just my .02

crackerjack,
$50 to have them welded on is pretty good from my understanding, hows the bed liner holding up ? I was thinking about doing that to mine.
p.s. i hear nothing but good things about AllPro stuff

I believe that the length we offer make for a good fit and offer room to grow when switching up to 37" and larger tires.
