When I bid on EBAY, I look at the guys history. This looks strange.....been a member since 2001 but has not ever gotten feedback for buy or sell?.....changed ID name in last 30 days (to hoser????).
Don't know, might be ok. Can you afford to loose the $$ if its a bad deal (no food for the kids?) Looks like a lot of stuff for $55 beginning bid. Don't have much recent CB experience to know if it is a good radio or not.

Looks pretty good. That Firestik stuff would cost you about $40-$50 new, I think.
I have a Cobra 18 which looks like just a longer version of that auction. I like it, it's pretty nice.
I'm not so sure about a dual antenna set up though. I haven't read Firestik's info section on that yet.
I don't know much about CBs but I do know that I got mine for about $50 on Ebay a few months ago and the Firestik stuff cost me about $60 with shipping.

A quick yahoo search turned up dealers of cobra CB's. This guy sells for $45 with no antenna stuff.
